Jávea is also written Xàbia, the Valencian spelling. Both appear on road signs and maps, they’re the same place.

By our coach

  • Most of our guests will travel together on a coach that we provide from Valencia on Thursday, Sep 3.
  • Departs 3:00pm from Joaquín Sorolla train station. Passenger list on the Bus page.
  • About 1h 30m from Valencia to Jávea on our coach.

On your own

  • Direct ALSA bus services run all day, see the Bus page to learn more.
  • No Uber or Bolt in Jávea, so pre-book a transfer rather than assuming.
  • Aim to arrive Thu Sep 3 in time for our evening hang. Details TBD.

  • Most places accept card and tap to pay, but bringing some cash never hurts. The airport ATMs are a good spot to grab euros, and to meet people.

  • Balmy evenings near 22°C (72°F), a light layer is plenty.
  • Sea is at its warmest of the year, around 26°C (79°F). Swim-friendly.

  • A tote or beach bag for days out.
  • Portable phone charger for long days.
  • Water shoes, some Jávea coves are pebble, not sand.

Good to remember

  • Pack light layers, evenings by the sea are pleasant but cooler than midday.
  • A refillable bottle, it’s warm and you’ll want to stay hydrated.

Two things worth knowing

No Uber or Bolt in Jávea. Taxis are phone-booked or found at ranks (Javea Port & Arenal Beach). Evenings and weekends get busy, so if you’ll need a ride home after the parties, book ahead.
